Flash ANDROID c’est fini

ADOBE arrête le développement de flash sur ANDROID. Dés ce jour il ne sera plus possible de télécharger le plugin flash à partir du Google Play Market.

 

Apple a toujours refusé son apparition sur iOS, et contribue ainsi à sa disparition. Apple est plus intéressé à pousser le développement d’applications dédiées mobiles, qui lui rapporte des royautés, que des plugins pour naviguer sur le web.

Steve Jobs a  refusé Flash sur l’iphone et a mis en avant HTML5. Mais HTML5 n’est pas encore prêt et il faudra attendre au mieux 2014. D’autre part toutes les applications flash que l’on trouve sur le web ne sont pas transformables, ou difficilement, en HTML5. La navigation web sur tablettes Android sera donc limité.

Lors de l’annonce d’Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) en novembre dernier, Adobe indiquait qu’il s’agissait de la dernière version du système qui allait être supportée et que le support officiel allait prochainement être stoppé.

On aura donc un web mobile réduit, en attendant une transition lente vers HTML5.
