Goole est le moteur de recherche prédominant du Web. Si un site n’est pas bien classé par Google, il n’existe pas!
Google a développé un filtre pour modifier les résultats de recherche trouvés par son algorithme, son nom de code est Panda.
Google a expliqué les nouvelles règles :
– Pénalités octroyées aux sites considérés comme spammeurs
– Pénalités aux sites proposant trop de publicités
– Pénaliser le cloaking, c’est à dire fournir un contenu différent pour l’internaute et le moteur de recherche
– Pénalités pour le contenu dupliqué
Panda a été appliqué sur les sites anglophones, USA et Grande Bretagne.
D’après SearchMetrics en Grande-Bretagne, des sites ont eu des pertes lourdes comme pricedash.com (-97%), discountshoppinguk.co.uk (-99,26%), webdevelopersnotes.com (-98,94%) ou netvouchercodes.co.uk (-98,73%).
Matt Cutts, porte-parole SEO de Google, avait cependant indiqué qu’en dehors des Etats-Unis, l’impact de Panda pourrait être plus faible, car le phénomène visé des fermes de contenus y était moins présent.
Panda va donc venir en France. Est-il déjà passé?
Le site 1ere position affirme que Panda est déjà passé en France depuis mars 2011 avec des résultats catastrophiques pour certains sites.
Commentcamarche.net passe de 2,2 millions de visiteurs par jour à 800 000 visiteurs, soit une baisse de 63%.
Wikio France passe de 140 000 visiteurs à 70 000 visiteurs soit une baisse de 50%.
Aufeminin.com 1 million de visiteurs à 500 000 visiteurs, soit une baisse de 50%.
Voyages SNCF passe de 700 000 visiteurs à 350 000 visiteurs soit une baisse de 50%.
Mais pour faire la démonstration du passage de Panda l’article se base sur Google trends :

En revanche, dorénavant chaque site devra passer par l’imprimatur de Google.
Google peut décider des contenus qui lui paraissent conformes à sa vision du Web.
