I Like the FaceBook Like button

FaceBook a lancé Open Graph, et a mis en place un widget : le bouton Like.

Un webmaster peut donc installer rapidement un bouton « LIKE » de FaceBook sur son site ou son Blog. Un simple script en iframe qui appelle like.php avec l’url de la page visitée.

Y a t-il un risque sur sa vie privée ?

Lorsque l’on clique sur ce bouton LIKE, on aura sur son mur l’information « I Like le Titre de la page » avec un lien vers cette page.

Exemple :

Jordi likes SoundCloud Deep House.

C’est donc pour l’éditeur d’un site, une bonne façon de faire connaitre son site ou blog par le truchement de recommandations d’amis FaceBook.

Bien sûr par ce biais FaceBook saura que vous aimez cette page, ce produit. Mais c’est déjà le cas si vous publiez un lien dans votre status.

Comment ça marche ?

Une fois connecté à FaceBook, par la technique des cookies, le navigateur a votre identité. Et c’est donc votre vrai nom et pas un pseudo si vous avez un compte FaceBook avec votre vrai identité!

Pour effacer le cookie il faut se « délogger » de FaceBook (Logout). Si vous ne cliquez pas sur le bouton Like, rien ne se passera. Vos amis ne sauront pas que vous avez visité une page pas recommandable!

Pour connaitre les informations contenues dans le cookie de la page document il faut insérer ce code dans l’url de votre navigateur.

Déséquilibre FaceBook – Editeur

Un article décrit un déséquilibre entre les informations recueillies par FaceBook et l’éditeur. FaceBook aurez toutes les infos et l’éditeur rien.

Et bien non on peut suivre les statistiques des visites de sa page et savoir qui a cliqué sur le bouton Like. Pour pouvoir administrer sa page sur FaceBook, il faut inscrire son site sur FaceBook ici et donner les informations dans l’onglet « connect ». On aura ainsi un app_id à insérer dans une balise meta.

Sans installer sur son site FaceBook connect on peut en indiquant des balise meta, suivre les statistiques de sa page contenant le bouton Like :

Administration des pages :

Dans la page « Home » vous verrez sous votre image profil, le lien « Ads and Pages ». Vous retrouverez toutes vos pages et notamment celles crées par le bouton Like.
Elles ne seront visibles que par l’administrateur (id du meta admins). Les autres utilsateurs seront redirigés vers la page contenant le bouton LIKE.

Vous ne semblez pas être informé de la polémique autour de ce bouton « J’aime » qui agite les médias depuis le début du mois.

Le bouton « J’aime » requiert une connexion vers le serveur FaceBook pour s’afficher.

De ce fait, même si vous ne cliquez pas sur ce bouton « J’aime », FaceBook savent que vous avez visitez ce site.

De même, si vous êtes déconnecté proprement de FaceBook, un cookie persistant garde votre identifiant et permet également à FaceBook de connaître les sites que vous visitez.

Et si vous pensiez être tranquille en supprimant vos cookies, cela n’est pas suffisant, car FaceBook vous créent automatiquement un cookie avec un identifiant unique temporaire qui regroupe tous les sites que vous visitez, puis lorsque vous vous connectez sur FaceBook, ils peuvent alors faire la liaison avec votre profil.

Je cite dans l’article un article de zdnet qui prévient des dangers du bouton LIKE. Je suis donc informé de la polémique, mais je ne suis pas d’accord avec vous lorsque vous affirmez que FaceBook connait la page visitée sans cliquer sur le bouton Like.
Je ne réponds pas non à la question: y a t-il un risque sur sa vie privée, j’essaye de donner des informations sur ce que fait le bouton Like. Chacun jugera s’il doit utiliser votre addon ou simplement ne pas s’enregistrer sur FaceBook.
