La fin des short URL Cli.gs ferme

Cette fois ci c’est le site cli.gs qui va fermer. Les sites de microblogging et principalement Twitter ont été la cause de la création de sites de short urls. Pour limiter le nombre de caractères, des sites ont proposés de remplacer le lien classique en un lien raccourci.

Ainsi de nombreux sites se sont créés. Mais ces sites n’ayant pas de business model, ils ferment. Aujourd’hui c’est cli.gs qui annonce sa fermeture pour le 25 octobre.

J’utilise ce site via le plugin WordPress Wp to twitter. Il faudra donc passer à bit.ly qui est devenu le le short url de Twitter.
