Avec le lancement du nouveau design Facebook, de nombreux utilisateurs se sentent perdus sur la façon de gérer leurs applications. Lors de la réunion FaceBook Garage, j’avais posé une question à Mark Zuckerberg sur la difficulté de gestions des applications avec le nouveau design. A ce moment là il n’avait pas semble t-il évalué l’ampleur des conséquences de ces changements.
En effet, dans l’ancienne version, les utilisateurs retrouvaient immédiatement sur leur wall les applications choisies. Maintenant, l’utilisateur doit aller cliquer sur le bouton en bas de sa page, à gauche, pour gérer les applications.
Pour que cette gestion soit plus simple, on ne trouvait pas facilement les applications, FaceBook a modifié la présentation. Par défaut on retouve les applications récemment utilisés.
Je ne pense pas que ce redesign apporte une résolution aux difficultés rencontrées par les utilisateurs. Le nombre d’aplications installées décroient. D’aprés mes statistiques, seulement 10% des utilisateurs FaceBook savent installer une application.
FaceBook a mis en place un système de certification des applications. Pour avoir l’imprimatur FaceBook les développeurs devront payer.
Tout ceci, n’incite pas les développeurs à aller sur FaceBook.
